I have to admit, I have a weakness for pop R&B and dance. Mariah Carey. Lady Gaga. There’s just something irresistible about a catch

y tune with a bumpin’ beat and a lady on the mic with a swingin’, soulful voice. Something that makes you wanna get out on the dance floor and bust a move. Something like DaniElle DeLaite. And yes, that “E” should be capitalized. That thing keeps screwing me up!

Anyway, DeLaite is a talented, 23-year old singer from Sydney, Australia (let the Kylie Minogue comparisons begin!) who has been an entertainer since she was three. Most importantly, her music is fun, bouncy, and full of get up ‘n go! Her single “Nothing to Wear” is out now along with three cool remixes, so go check it for some upbeat tunes!

By the way, as far as I can tell, “Ring the Alarm,” the other song featured in this post, isn’t from an actual album… at least not yet. An early release from an upcoming album maybe?
